Water-fed pole systems are fantastic high-reach tools that connect to a source of pure, filtered water. Besides the clear health and safety benefits of using a pole system, the purified water leaves your glass sparkling clean without any watermarks or residue.
 

Many modern window cleaners suggest that the residues from traditional cleaning agents can attract dirt and grime, leaving windows less clean for as long as we’d like. On the flip side, traditional window cleaners argue that the water-fed pole systems don’t quite match the thoroughness of a classic squeegee and cloth clean. This friendly debate about which system is better has been around for years and doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon! The reality is both systems can be really effective; it all comes down to the skill of the operator.
 

Drawing from our experience, we believe that a traditional ladder-based squeegee and cloth work wonderfully for residential homes. On the other hand, water-fed pole systems are just perfect for offices, high-rise tenements, and commercial and industrial settings. Of course, this is just our perspective!

What about the Frames

 

Many window cleaners take pride in offering a thorough cleaning of frames and sills as part of their standard service, while others may list this as an extra service. Some will happily brush away any cobwebs and give a gentle wipe to both the frame and sill, whereas others might focus solely on wiping down the sills. Additionally, some cleaners will make sure to give the frames a thorough clean during the initial visit, and then suggest that a simple wipe-down is all that’s needed for maintenance in the visits that follow.
 

It’s a great idea to clarify what’s included in the price because every window cleaner has their own approach! That’s why we always take the time to clean the frame and sill with every single clean.

Conservatory Cleaning (Rooftops Excluded}

 

There are two types of conservatory cleanliness:
 

Filthy and neglected and could use a good cleaning after not being tended to for years, or the conservatory is well maintained and necessitates only a brief wipe to retain its fresh appearance.

A conservatory that has been neglected for quite some time might be covered in stubborn dirt, grime, and even algae on the frames. If you’re dealing with an average-sized conservatory in this state, just keep in mind that it will require a bit more time and effort to restore it to its former glory!
 

A well-maintained conservatory that receives regular cleaning truly shines! It won’t require any deep scrubbing, making the cleaning process much quicker and easier. We happily clean conservatories too but just a heads-up that pricing will vary based on the time we need to allocate for the job.
