Costs
It’s simple mathematics: We cannot profit if we spend more than we earn. We consistently consider our service costs, including the expenses associated with producing and maintaining the service, as well as the fixed costs we must cover regardless of our number of clients.
For instance, advertising, overheads and operating expenses can significantly accumulate!
One popular approach we often utilise is cost-plus pricing. This involves closely examining our costs and determining the additional amount we may need to charge for a service. This ensures that everything is covered while delivering excellent value!
In light of these three "Cs," we have established procedures that encompass four core strategies.
Value Pricing
Value-based pricing centres on the perceived value our clients receive from our services. The aim is to ensure they are pleased to invest in exceptional offerings that genuinely deliver value for their money. For example, as we strive to provide quality, reliability, and sustainability, our pricing will authentically reflect these efforts rather than merely matching our competitors' pricing.
Frequency Pricing
This strategy provides clear and straightforward information based on your chosen service frequency. We’re thrilled to offer various options to ensure flexibility for your needs—whether you prefer service once a month, every other month, every three months, every six or nine months, or even an annual service!
If you choose a regular service, like once a month, we'll provide you with a customized price for your property. If you prefer a less frequent option, such as every 2, 3, 6, 9, or 12 months, don’t worry! We’ll adjust the price accordingly to account for the time that has passed and any dirt and grime that may have built up.
If you receive a quote of £20.00 for monthly cleaning but choose a less frequent schedule, such as every second or third month (particularly during the autumn and winter seasons), the price will rise by 10%. As a result, your cleaning every two or three months will cost £22.00.
We've compiled a handy table showing the different service frequencies available to help you better understand the pricing.

If you receive a quote of £20.00 for a regular 1-month service and later choose to change to any of the frequencies listed below, your price will be updated accordingly.
There will be a 10% increase over a cycle of 2 months, bringing the total to £22.00.
3 to 6 month cycle results in a 20% increase, equating to £24.00.
6 to 9 month cycle results in a 30% increase, equating to £26.00
9 to 12-month cycle results in a 50% increase, equating to £30.00.
Seasonal Pricing
This strategy is flexible rather than rigid, enabling us to adapt to evolving weather conditions. As we progress into the latter part of the year, you can anticipate prices to vary accordingly.
For example, we work continuously throughout the year. The weather can be delightful during the spring and summer, but it can quickly deteriorate in autumn and winter. Due to rain, wind, and leaves on the ground,
especially ice and snow. We must navigate numerous slip hazards that can jeopardise our safety and potentially harm individuals and property. This is why we need to consider these factors when necessary, which may lead to raising your prices during the latter part of the year.
Annual Pricing - Reviews
Each year, we reassess our pricing to ensure it meets your needs! If any adjustments are necessary, we will implement them thoughtfully. The new price will remain effective until our following annual review. This approach allows us to manage our operational costs while continuing to provide you with exceptional service in the future!
At CVCS, we may occasionally modify your price, but rest assured it will always be fair and reasonable. This enables us to address any significant or unforeseen changes while continuing to meet the needs of our business and our valued clients, all to enhance our service for you!
We want to ensure you are kept informed about any pricing changes. Before we make any adjustments, we will notify you exactly how much the increase will be. This change will take effect on the specified date, but if it does not suit you, you are always welcome to cancel the service!
